- Given the strong indication that there will be showers and/or thunderstorms affecting the event area, at this time we are suspending all Temple Guardian activity/shifts onsite at the Temple until at least 11am Saturday 8/24.
- At that time we will reassess the situation and make a further announcement.
- Please continue to prioritize your safety during this time and stay in camp at Black Rock City.

- The 11 am weather update is somewhat more promising than previous indications. Forecasts continue to indicate the possibility of showers and thunderstorms through 5 pm today and into this evening possibly. There is another system approaching which, dependent on direction may bring renewed rain.
- As posted on guardians social media, Slack, physical signage and as communicated to the build team, guardian shifts are discretionary now until 3pm pending a further review and assessment of the weather at that time
- Should you be scheduled to work a shift and feel comfortable doing so, please use your discretion and caution, placing a premium on your safety.
